Software Engineers US Citizenship Required The Company SciTec,
Inc. is a small Princeton, New Jersey based company with offices in
Fairborn, OH and Huntsville, AL that performs a variety of scientific
and technical services for a range of government customers and industry
partners. These services include analysis of multispectral and
fast framing data, physics based modeling, scientific software
development (including real time algorithm development), sensor
modeling and future sensor design. SciTec also develops
customized sensor instrumentation and processing systems for a number
of applications including phenomenological research, test and
evaluation and concept development and technology maturation.
Processing systems, models, algorithms and exploitation tools are
written in high level languages such as IDL and Matlab, FORTRAN, C/C++
and embedded programming of DSPs in assembly code and using VHDL for
FPGAs. Software Engineers SciTec
has a need for a scientific programmer or processing system engineer in
our Princeton office and to support on-going projects with business
partners in Boulder, CO. Programming in C/C++, JAVA and JSP
is required. Experience with MATLAB is preferred. The
position will involve exposure to a wide range of areas including
physics based modeling, spectroscopy, signal processing and detection
theory, scientific software development, atmospheric phenomenology,
spatial, spectral, and temporal data processing, data acquisition, and
sensor modeling and development. The job may also involve
laboratory and field-testing and work in such areas as signature
analysis and image processing. Experience or degrees in the
physical sciences (e.g. Physics or Physical Chemistry), electrical
engineering, other applied sciences, engineering disciplines or remote
sensing a plus. Positions are available in our New Jersey and Colorado. Opportunities exist in Ohio, Virginia, and Alabama for applicants with experience working closely with government customers. Experience Experience
with C++, JAVA and JSP, preferred. A strong background in physics and
mathematics and programming experience with C, IDL, Fortran and VHDL
are of interest. Education We
are looking for individuals to fulfill a variety of openings with a
minimum B.S. in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering or an applied
